There are two types of days - those that are April 24th, and those that are not.  Unfortunately, there will be far too many of the latter before we reach the former.  That is the day that I'll find out whether or not I got into grad school.  Until then, I'm just sort of waiting and chilling, hitting the pause button on life.  I'm still doing things ( Read more... )

As much as I was dreading it, I had a pretty darn good birthday.  When the clock hit midnight, I was pokerin' it up with some good friends.  I lost all my money, but it was still fun.  In the morning, Mat sang and played (on guitar) the Beatles "Birthday" for me.  Sweet!  Next was brunch at Not Your Average Joe's, and I was surprised at how many ( Read more... )

Well, the first couple weeks of 2009 have been pretty rad.  :-)

I went home on New Year's Day, and got to see the whole fam-damily.  I was there until the 7th and we had some awesome adventures.  I will present them with bullet points.
